This Foundation was born out of tragedy, but has given us much for which to be grateful.
2025 was an amazing year for the Whitney Young Children’s Foundation. We received a large estate gift and, overall, contributions were up, which led to a record year of fundraising—specifically $192,372 from 108 generous donors
This generosity, in turn, made 2025 a record year of gifting by WYCF—$200,000 to 32 very deserving agencies.
By comparison, in 2007, we gifted $18,900 to 13 non-profit organizations.
Since our inception in December 2006, WYCF has raised over $2,183,000 and we have gifted more than $2,121,350 to carefully vetted, inspiring and impactful non-profit organizations, all of whom mesh with the WYCF mission to help children and young adults dream, love, live, and laugh in ways previously unimaginable.
